Do you want to make a difference in the world and help those less fortunate? Do you like soccer and want to use it to make a positive impact? Global Youth support Center Service (GYSC) Trip is a great opportunity to do just that. GYSC provides a soccer theme Service trip to Tanzania that will allow you to immerse in the culture, gain access few others have, and explore the beauty of the unique destinations we visit like Zanzibar Island, Safari, or historical towns. GYSC offers an opportunity to empower the community we visit, make the world a better place, learn and explore the local culture.
If Interested, Students and families should attend interest meeting at Milwaukee Lutheran High School at 6:30 pm on the following dates:
- December 18th
- January 20th
- February 3rd
Additional important dates:
- We need a commitment for the trip by February 10th
- 33% financial commitment by March 1st
- 70% financial commitment by April 1st
- 100% financial commitment by May 1st
What will I be doing in this trip?
- Renovating an abandoned school building to convert it to a youth activity center.
- Painting the building
- Lining the soccer fields
- Installing soccer goals
- Help running a soccer camp for 5–12-year-old
- Coaching
- Drill demonstrations
- Leading fun soccer games
- Friendly match with a local high school
- Culture immersion activities
- Safari tour in Serengeti Park
- Zanzibar Island/historical town
- Touring local stores
What is the cost of the trip?
- Total cost of the trip is $3,000
- All-inclusive pricing covers Travel, meals, lodging, expert guides, Visa, Insurance, and excursions
- We recommend bringing $100-500 for souvenirs and extra activities
- There are multiple fundraising opportunity to raise funds for 100% of the trip.
Who is eligible for trip?
- High school Juniors-seniors (includes graduating seniors)
- High school soccer players recommended

What do I need for the trip?
- Passport (at least 6 months before expiring or visa will not be granted)
- Vaccine/immunization up to date
